The following piece came to the ATUD office through a shared email with no author attached. The anonymous author began by defining the word conundrum as a problem that is difficult to solve or confusing. Then provided six “Conundrums of Socialism in the United States of America”:
1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
The author continued with the following to point out the “direction of our current government and cultural environment”:
1. We are advised to not judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
2. We constantly – that is, for decades – hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money. What's interesting is the first group earned their Social Security money, the second group did not.
3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.
Although all nine points are true, they are not conundrums. They are neither problematic in their solution nor confusing. They are simply the lies constructed and repeated by Marxist (aka Democrat) politicians, the Legacy Media, and university administrations and faculty across the country. This is the Hoaxer form of lying, a cousin of Projection lying. Perfected by Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Xi, Hillary Clinton, Obama, Joe Biden, and Anthony Fauci, to mention only a few, Hoaxer strategy is predicated on convincing people that the reality they deduce from everyday life and experience is opposite of what is true. The intent of Hoaxer and Projection strategies is to produce doubt, fear, and compliance. Its purpose is to convert America into a totalitarian state in which elite pro-Muslim Marxists have absolute power.
Only with rare exceptions, do the conservative cable news networks (FOX, OAN, Newsmax) call out, verbally flog, and drive off the air those peddling these lies. Presumably because this would require work, sink ratings, and generate lawsuits against those daring to speak out against Marxist propaganda. An example is the daily coverage of pro-Palestinian riots and the plight of poor, poor Palestinians, who voted in a Hamas government, in Gaza. A recent (2Dec) Wall Street Journal lead article was how the poor Palestinians on the West Bank are being mistreated by Israelis there. How quickly do politicians and the press forget about Jewish babies being beheaded, children watching their parents murdered, their mothers and sisters raped, and others burned alive. Do we see equal coverage of pro-Israeli demonstrations and the horror of neo-Nazi anti-Semitism that appears to be alive and well in America? Nope.
Neither house of Congress has been effective in combating Hoaxer lies. Only Florida Governor DeSantis has made progress in confronting and defeating Hoaxer strategies. [Gov. Abbot has been embarrassingly impotent in confronting the onslaught of illegal aliens, which Hoaxers call immigrants or new voters, crossing into Texas, indeed, into America.] And all major company CEOs, with one exception, have assisted with Hoaxer and Projection strategies in one way or another.
So, can our Constitutional Representative Republic be restored? If so, how will Americans eradicate our current corrupt Marxist government?
Some believe it is too late. They desire to be completely self-sufficient and ungovernable. I presume completely self-sufficient means living like a modern-day Jeremiah Johnson. A life path not practical or feasible for most Americans. Ungovernable, defined as “not capable of being governed, ruled, or restrained; licentious; wild; unbridled,”[1]is a more worrisome desire. It smacks of anarchy, or rather an alternative anarchy to what we have seen in many American cities under the current Obama-Biden administration. Being ungovernable is un-American.
Others believe that respectful debate, reason, compromise, and compassion with the Socialist-Marxist Democrats will bring about mutual understanding and concord. This is the same absurd thinking that allowed Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, and others to seize total power. It is foolish, weak, and self-destructive. One may as well attempt to reason with a rattlesnake.
Yes, the America that once was can be, must be, restored. To do so will demand physical and mental courage, determination, and faith not only in God, but also one another. It will require a recognition that the successor to British tyranny in the 1770s is the Democrat Party of today. It will require an understanding of liberty as our Founding Fathers understood it and put it into words in the Declaration of Independence, a document Lincoln called the “immortal emblem of humanity. And lastly, an appreciation of a government of the people, for the people, and by the people as presented in the Constitution.
But make no mistake in thinking that the Obama-Soros led Marxists, who parade around as Democrats, will go gently into the night. Like Napoleon, they must be dealt with harshly, without mercy, and expelled to their own St. Helena Island.
The time is near at hand which must determine whether Americans are to be free men or slaves.
