In reading history, I have often wondered what it felt like to be in Germany in the mid to late 1930s. Antisemitic riots (euphemistically called protests) at some of our most prestigious Socialist/Marxist Indoctrination Centers (UC Berkeley, Columbia, Harvard, Stanford) over the past couple of months, have converted wonder into reality. Unless one is a Democrat, watching a bunch of Middle Eastern pro-Palestinian ragheads incite naïve wealthy white children to riot (dare we say generate an insurrection? No, that word is reserved for those who challenge a fraudulent U.S. election) and terrorize Jewish classmates, who have no responsibility for Gaza, is horrendous. And reminiscent of another antisemitic pogrom.
The assassination of Ernst vom Rath by a Polish Jewish teen generated what is known as Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass). On the night of 9-10 November 1938, Nazi thugs – Sturmabteilung (SA) and Schutzstaffel (SS) – along with some Hitler Youth, and civilians destroyed Jewish homes, schools, 267 synagogues, and damaged or destroyed 7,000 businesses. Thirty-thousand Jewish men were beaten and incarcerated in concentration camps.[1] Like the college-centered pogrom today, the November pogrom was widely reported by news sources worldwide.[2]
Also like the current pogrom, nothing was done about it. Welcome to modern American neo-Nazism supported by Democrats across the country. Of course, a few canisters of tear gas and a few heads laid open with police billy clubs would send the rest of the miscreants running for the dorms.
Watching these college-centered “protests” also calls to mind the 1970 tragedy (misnamed a “massacre” by Progressives) at Kent State University. In that era, naïve wealthy white kids were lured from the classroom by the siren song of Vietnam War protest (code for: social revolution and anarchy). Jerry Rubin, leader of the Yippie Movement and a Jew, told students “The first part of the Yippie program is to kill your parents. They are the first oppressors.”[3] Regrettably, tragically, a few of the Ohio National Guardsmen, like the British soldiers in Boston on 5 March 1770, became panicked by verbal abuse and rocks tossed at them by students and opened fire. Four were killed and nine others injured. Neither Rubin, nor any of the members of Students for a Democratic Society and Black United Students were killed or injured.
When will the American Kristallnacht take place or a repeat of Kent State? Like ticking time bombs, these tragedies explode when least expected. Someone will slam into a Jewish student – likely one of the Palestinian agitators dressed as a Jew in true Nazi style – the faux Jew will punch back … voila! instant riot. There will not be enough police to control the crowd; the National Guard will be called in and the Marxist’s dream scenario unfolds. Who will get hurt of killed? A few police or Guardsmen, a Jew or two perhaps, but more likely a handful of naïve wealthy white kids who could not resist the Palestinian Pied Piper shouting “Death to America.” When this occurs the news media will be on it 24/7 for weeks, we will break out the candles, grab flowers and teddy bears, have a vigil, cry alligator tears, and bathe in our empathy until pruney. All the while, the authors of the tragedy will plan another, and parents will continue to pay for Socialist/Marxist indoctrination. It’s enough to make one puke.
For the moment, these Arab raghead run antisemitic riots are taking place in the Blue states, the states where elites, safe in their walled compounds, permit Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Public to live in a world of anarchist driven chaos. In time, large Red state cities governed by Socialist/Marxist mayors, such as Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, and Houston, will import this insanity. Texans will not have the same welcoming approach to Muslim led antisemitism as Californians, New Yorkers, or folks in New England. This has already been considered and acted upon.
None other than that fake Jew, fake Congressman, and lousy human being from Maryland, the one and only Jamie Raskin, and a handful of equally useless bastiches, referred H.R. 6981, “Preventing Private Paramilitary Activity Act of 2024” to the Judiciary Committee on 11 January. For this article I will hit a few of the high points which will be in bold print.
§ 2742. Unauthorized private paramilitary activity
(a) Offense.—It shall be unlawful to knowingly, in a circumstance described in subsection (b), while acting as part of or on behalf of a private paramilitary organization and armed with a firearm, explosive or incendiary device, or other dangerous weapon—
(1) publicly patrol, drill, or engage in techniques capable of causing bodily injury or death;
(2) interfere with, interrupt, or attempt to interfere with or interrupt government operations or a government proceeding;
(3) interfere with or intimidate another person in that person's exercise of any right under the Constitution of the United States;
(4) assume the functions of a law enforcement officer, peace officer, or public official, whether or not acting under color of law, and thereby assert authority or purport to assert authority over another person without the consent of that person; or
(5) train to engage in any activity described in paragraphs (1) through (4).
(d) Penalty.—Any person who violates subsection (a) shall be fined under this title, imprisoned for not more than 1 year, or both, except that—
(1) in the case of a violation that does not result in bodily injury and is committed by a person who has not, prior to the commission of the violation, been convicted of violating a Federal or State law, the person may be sentenced to probation for a term of not more than 1 year;
(2) in the case of a violation that occurs after a prior conviction under this section has become final, the person shall be fined under this title, imprisoned for not more than 2 years, or both;
(3) in the case of a violation that results in damage to property, the person shall be fined under this title, imprisoned for not more than 2 years, or both; and
(4) in the case of a violation that results in—
(A) bodily injury, the person shall be fined under this title, imprisoned for not more than 5 years, or both; or
(B) death, the person shall be fined under this title and imprisoned for any term of years or for life.
(e) Forfeiture.—
1) IN GENERAL.—Any person who violates subsection (a) shall forfeit to the United States any property, personal or real, involved in, used, or intended to be used, in any manner or part, to commit, or to facilitate the commission of, the violation, or that constitutes or is derived from proceeds traceable to the violation.
Well now, ol’ Jamie knows his history! Essentially, he is saying that the Sons of Liberty, who turned Boston Harbor into a large pot of iced tea on 16 December 1773, and warned the rural populace that the British were on the march early on 19 April 1775, and that the Minutemen and farmers that shot down tyrant directed Redcoats as they returned from Concord to Charlestown were criminals. Indeed, criminals who should be hanged or imprisoned for life. King George III would have agreed with Raskin.
Then Jamie gets a little vague to suit his intentions. “Other dangerous weapon” is purposefully vague. A hammer or iron skillet could be a dangerous weapon if wielded by a carpenter or a chef. And “train to engage in any activity described in paragraphs 1-4?” Again, very vague. If I go to the shooting range frequently, could I be accused of training to engage in 1-4 activities? The answer is yes.
Jamie and his cronies have written the penalties in an “iron fist in a velvet glove” manner. They tell you that infractions of this law shall (meaning will) involve a fine and imprisonment, then describe the exceptions. Paragraph one states that if no bodily harm or previous been convicted of violating a Federal or State law, the person may be sentenced to probation for a term of not more than 1 year. What is the definition of bodily harm? Physical, mental, both? How is Federal or State law defined? Do you think that in the post-Constitutional Marxist state that we live in the judge would rule for probation? Moreover, one can see that in penalties 2-4 the words “shall be” are used. And “damage to property” is another vague term open to interpretation.
The Forfeiture paragraph reads those convicted “shall forfeit to the United States any property, personal or real, involved in, used, or intended to be used, in any manner or part, to commit, or to facilitate the commission of, the violation.” This means that a government lawyer will take everything you own away from you.
Raskin’s bill is an admission that abrogating the Second Amendment is failing. Therefore, a different approach must be taken that would, in the words of Roman Moroni, “Cutta the bells off of those [patriotic American] corksuckers.”
John Locke described Raskin’s intentions quite accurately in the late 17th century: “Tis a Mistake to think this Fault [tyranny] is proper only to Monarchies; other Forms of Government are liable to it, as well as that. For where-ever the Power that is put in any hands for the Government of the People, and the Preservation of their Properties, is applied to other ends, and made use of to impoverish, harass, or subdue them to the Arbitrary and Irregular Commands of those that have it: There it presently becomes Tyranny, whether those that thus use it are one or many.”
H. R. 6981 intends to subdue Americans to the arbitrary and irregular commands of a tyrannical totalitarian government. It could lead to, as Moroni would say, “fargin war.”
