THE CONSTITUTION IS NOT ABSOLUTE

Updated: Aug 15, 2022

On 8 April 2021, Uncle Joe Biden stated that “no amendment to the Constitution was absolute.”[1] I do not believe those words have ever been spoken by any other politician that has inhabited the Washington Swamp. This could have been Biden’s dementia talking or the words a staffer put on the teleprompter. In any event, I do not remember anyone vigorously pushing back on that statement either! That is an extremely sad commentary on American society, both houses of Congress, and the collective media.[2]

However, the obviously demented, incompetent leader of the free world had a sound basis for his remark. The response to the COVID Pandemic demonstrated that the First Amendment of the Constitution was not absolute. Our rights to worship and peaceable assembly were nullified. Moreover, social media platforms and Legacy news networks abrogated our right to free speech through censorship. The recent shootings in Buffalo, New York, Chicago, and Uvalde, Texas have given the Socialist Biden Misadministration a fresh grist for the Anti-Second Amendment mill. Perhaps we will have a Gun Czar soon in the person of Beto O’Rouke, and, hopefully, he will have to leave Texas! So, let’s review some of our Constitutional amendments and what the reality of Biden’s comment could mean.

Second Amendment: “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” Apparently, Biden and Beto do not understand the phrase “shall not be infringed.” And we know from the 2020 Presidential Campaign that Biden and Beto do not care about that phrase either.

Fourth Amendment: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” If this amendment is not absolute, then local, state, and/or national law enforcement agencies will be able to enter a person’s home and seize whoever, whatever, and whenever they want. Think about that.

Fifth Amendment: “No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury … nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.” Without the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, the government could run roughshod over anyone at any time without hesitation or explanation.

Eighth Amendment: “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.” For enemies of the Socialist/Marxist State, excessive bail would keep them in prison for special treatment known only to those who deliver it.

Tenth Amendment: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” After the First and Second Amendments, this one is likely the most hated by the Socialist/Marxist Biden Regime. This is the amendment that should limit Federal Government overreach. Issues like Rowe v. Wade and many others should be decided by the State legislatures not the Supreme Court or Congress.

Thirteenth Amendment: Section 1: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for a crime … shall exist in the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” This amendment ratified on 6 December 1865 made black slaves free men and women. For Uncle Joe slavery and involuntary servitude is not an absolute right. Well, of course not. Biden is a known racist and the Democratic Party has always kept black Americans in some form of slavery or other. First it was on the plantations, then Jim Crow laws, then welfare, and let’s not forget Planned Parenthood (Margaret Sanger disliked blacks and Jews). Democrats were segregationists, against the 13th and 15th Amendments, leaders of the Klu Klux Klan, and against the 1964 Civil Rights Act. However, if not an absolute right, then we all could become slaves of a totalitarian state.

Fifteenth Amendment: Section 1: “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.” This amendment ratified on 3 February 1870 gave black Americans the right to vote. Please note however, that when black Americans returned to the then Democratic deep south after WWII attempting to vote could be a fatal event. But if not an absolute right, then not only black but all Americans can be denied that privilege.

Nineteenth Amendment: “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.” This amendment ratified on 18 August 1920 gave all American women the right to vote. I say all because women had been voting in some western states, such as Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado for years.[3] If not absolute, then women can be denied voting rights. And yes, all you boys who decide to be girls that means you too. No declaring you have a y-chromosome as a basis for voting once you are in high heels and lace.

Twenty-second Amendment: “No person shall be elected to the office of President more than twice …” Ratified 27 February 1951, this amendment was to preclude another President for Life as in the case of Franklin Roosevelt. However, if not absolute, then perhaps we will have Barak Obama again, and again, and again.

The Socialists/Fascists/Marxists (also known as Democrats, Progressives, Liberals) that run this country and those who voted for them will poo-poo these warnings as absurd nonsense. But the test case for abrogating Constitutional amendments has already been successfully accomplished.

PROMETHEUS

[1] Joe Biden Said The Bill of Rights is NOT "Absolute" - The Last Refuge (theconservativetreehouse.com) [2] I admit I have not checked all the sources so I may be wrong. However, this atrocious and terrifying statement should be discussed at length and often. [3] Women have had the right to vote and hold office in Wyoming since 1869, in Utah since 1870, Colorado since 1893, Idaho since 1896, in California since 1911, in Kansas and Arizona since 1912, Montana since 1914.
